You are watching: What cars have a 4x108 bolt pattern

*

Some older Cougars and Contours will... a few Merkurs too I think. Do a google search for 4x108 bolt pattern or something like that, I once found a site with a chart telling you different models & years. Keep in mind some have the right bolt but wrong offset though.

Some fords, Audi has a car, Alfa Romeo. Not very many cars... you have to really worry about offset... my .02, I think 4x108 is a shitty size and is retarded. a standard for 4 lug is more of a 4x100. yes i know honda uses that. I cant remember what the 5 lug most used size was. most performance cars use a 5 lug rim, sad that the svt didnt come like that... then there would have been a major upgrade for all the other foci. You can get just about any rim you want in 4x108 but if you have your heart set on one and they dont make it in your size get used to it. it will happen alot so look for the knock offs. But thats my .02$

Oh they"ll fit Pintos! Rock on!I definitely think the Saabs and old Mustangs won"t fit, owing to offset. Probably several of the rest of those too. And I agree, 4x108 is a frustrating size. It"s kind of odd how Ford didn"t use 4x100, but whatever.

4x108 is a little more popular across the pond guys but not much. I think there are a bunch of Citroens, Peugeots, etc that use it. I also remember hearing somewhere that 4x108 is a little stronger than 4x100. So Ford isn"t completely <8> contrary to popular belief.

Im willing to belive that the other side of the world uses it more. But that does us no good over here. shipping of rims cost way to much to ever think about it. Stronger does no good to the tuner who owns a Focus, seeing how there are no rims to swap out with. Sad.

I have same problem. My 2006 Focus had 4-bolt rims (108) which I bought winter rims for Michelin X-ice tires. Tire should have been 195/60r/15 but 195/55r/15s were installed. As the Focus bit the bullet into a concrete wall in September, I"ve been trying to unload the tires and rims, but they don"t fit much out there. Any suggestions beyond Contours and Mercurys to fit this wheel/tire combo?
( i love your writing style.....it"s unique and fresh and wonderful to read. it"s as if you have combined prose and poetry, and fashioned it into a whole new style.<

I"ve bought and sold several sets of wheels for the focus. Reconsider the price and how fast you want to sell them. Lower the price enough and they will sell fast...just a matter of demand at what price you are selling them for.

I"ve had the same issue with my winter wheels / tires from my old Contour SVT. Zero interest. I"d like to get *something* for them, but at this point, they are just taking up space in my shed.

What price points have you seen for 15s? Smaller demand as only older Focuses brakes will clear those I think. I have a real nice set of 15s I used for winter wheels and am planning to get them listed soon.

I find it hilarious how the look of wheels becomes a performance part. Granted, some high dollar wheels and larger diameter wheels do in fact help with performance... but durability is a greater asset. Suspension, engine, transmission, computer, and chassis upgrades are true tuner performance "parts". It is mildly irritating when people can"t keep performance and cosmetic parts separate.
